Zebra is a buisness which buys used metal folding machines that other businesses don’t want anymore. They then clean, repaint if necessary, and sell them to other businesss that would like them. It’s a small business consisting of only 6 members including myself and my auntie included which is nice.

There, I work essentially work as the grease monkey, I clean all the grease and dirt off the machines so they can be stripped and painted if necessary or sold as they are. I go two days a week and get a fair amount done which the boss really appreciates as there’s a lot to do and the other two workers are in their 60s-70s and might tire quicker than me.
Below is a collection of images ofsome of the machines i’ve cleaned and some that have been painted.
Most of these machines are guillotines for folding sheet metal however you do get some metal punching/pressing machines and some smaller human-sized ones.
Work at Zebra has come to a halt and probably for the forseeable future.
