Pier 52 is a outdoor watersport business located at Chasewater in Burntwood. It offers paddleboards, kayaks and pedalos that anyone can use to enjoy time on the water. It also features a wakeboarding setup however that has been closed for quite a few years and I doubt it will re-open due to insurance issues 😦 .
I work there during the summer as it’s a seasonal job and it’s a really nice place to go for a day out when the weather is sunny and warm.
The pier has all the equipment you might need, ranging from life jackets to paddles so you don’t have to bring any. You can also bring your own equipment like paddleboards and launch them from the pier which is very convenient for owners of paddleboards.

Unfortunately the reception building has been blown down by strong storms in the past and it was recently knocked down again. We were able to rebuild it though but it looks a bit shabby so it will need some more love and care to make it look nicer.
